Chinese women can’t pass through security after having excessive plastic surgery

Chinese women are driven to get plastic surgery in order to increase their chances of getting a job in a competitive Chinese economy.  In order to do so, they travel to South Korea where the plastic surgery industry has been booming for years. In fact, 1 in 77 of South Koreans has had some form of plastic surgery.

The plastic surgery transforms these women so much that some are no longer recognizable. This creates an issue with airport security as they attempt to travel back to China with a passport that seems to belong to another person.  Because of that, hospitals are having to issue “plastic surgery certificate” that prove the individual’s identity.   See some of these transformations below.
