Destructive flood washes away portion of Chilean town, taking with it cars, entire homes, anything on its path

    North Chile is hit by devastating floods, wiping away entire portions of small communities, destroying structures, carrying anything on their path, including large vehicles. The floods have caused at least $1.5 billion dollars in damage and cost over two dozen human lives.

    The following video footage was taken in the town of Charañaral, one of the towns greatly affected by the floods.
