Dwayne Johnson reveals how much he eats in a single day

    Dwayne Johnson, most notably known as “The Rock” has the physique of a modern Hercules. However, to attain such physique he not only puts in about 3 hours a day at the Gym doing a combination of cardio and weights, but he must also nourish his body with a large intake of food.  Not just any food, however, his food selection consists of carefully selected protein, carbohydrates, and fats.  Muscleandfitness recently revealed the specifics about his meal plan, listed below.

    10 oz cod
    2 whole eggs
    2 cups oatmeal
    Meal 2
    8 oz cod
    12 oz sweet potato
    1 cup veggies
    Meal 3
    8 oz chicken
    2 cups white rice
    1 cup veggies
    Meal 4
    8 oz cod
    2 cups rice
    1 cup veggies
    1 tbsp fish oil
    Meal 5
    8 oz steak
    12 oz baked potato
    spinach salad
    Meal 6
    10 oz cod
    2 cups rice
    Meal 7
    30 grams casein protein
    10 egg-white omelet
    1 cup veggies (onions, peppers, mushrooms)
    1 tbsp omega-3 fish oil

    This puts in his belly around +- 5,165 calories per day and he likes to tweak his caloric intake based on whatever role he needs to prepare for, so at times he might actually be consuming even more.



    Naturally people have grown curious and wonder if ordinary people can actually eat this much.  This has prompted some individuals to give his meal plan a shot, but so far all have failed miserably. Below, a reporter tries to eat what the rock eats in a single day.



    While these people might share the same enthusiasm as “The Rock” when it comes to eating these meals, they don’t share the same size physique and active lifestyle as he does.  Below is another person who attempted to eat his daily meal plan.

    I suppose the moral of the story is, to eat like “The Rock”, you must also train like “The Rock” over a long period of time, his build and meal consumption adaptability did not come in one day.
